Ontario Budget 2012: Strong Action. Right Choices
Our 2012 Budget is taking strong action to build a brighter future for Ontario families.

Our 2012 Budget is taking strong action to build a brighter future for Ontario families. It is our government’s 5-year plan to eliminate the deficit by 2017-18.

Returning to balance is the number one thing we can do to grow the economy, create jobs and protect the strong education system we’ve built for our kids and strong health care for our loved ones.

Some would choose to make deep, across the board cuts. Others would just ignore the deficit completely – putting our governments gains in health care and education at risk. Those are the wrong choices.

Our government is choosing to protect full-day kindergarten, smaller class sizes, the lowest waint times in Canada. And we’re making tough decisions: for every $1 in proposed spending, there are $4 in prosposed savings.

Our government’s choices are fair, responsible and reflect what Ontarians are already doing.
