Ontario Making It Easier For Families in London to Find Developmental Disability Supports

Beginning July 1, the Developmental Services Ontario office in London will be the new, single point of access to services for adults with a developmental disability.

This single window makes it easier for people and families to get the services and supports they need in one location. This will provide them with accurate information and reduce duplication.

In London, the Developmental Services Ontario office will provide peace of mind by confirming eligibility for services, determining people’s needs and linking them to supports – all in one place.

Developmental Services Ontario is a key part of the province’s transformation plan to improve services for adults with a developmental disability.

QUOTES

“Developmental Services Ontario offices will help make our developmental services system fair. Now, no matter where you live in Ontario you’ll be assessed in the same way and the people who need our help most will get priority.”

- Deb Matthews MPP, London North Centre
