Deb launches 2013 Children's Book Drive Donations accepted from January 20-February 5 image

I had a wonderful time at my New Year's Community Drop-In on Sunday, January 20th at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre. Thank you to everyone who came by! It was great to see so many familiar and new faces from London North Centre.

Sunday afternoon was also the launch of my annual Children’s Book Drive, and, once again I’m asking for your help to make it a success.

Every year, I’m overwhelmed by the generosity of Londoners and, judging from the response so far, I expect this year will be no different.

New or gently-used children’s books can be dropped off at my constituency office at 242 Piccadilly Street from January 20-February 5.

Oxford Books, located at 262 Piccadilly St., has kindly offered to give customers 20% off books purchased for my book drive. Once purchased, staff will keep books and I will pick them up at the end of the book drive. A big thanks to Oxford Book Store for their generosity!

All books will be donated to various organizations in London and across the province.
